Logo: National Orff-Schulwerk Conference (Overture 2000)

I was asked to create a design for a national music educator's conference. I worked with the marketing team to create a fun, free-spirited, Matisse-inspired logo that would be used on banners, signage, t-shirts and many other conference materials.

The client wanted a logo that would capture the following elements:

  • children
  • dance and movement
  • music
  • a celebration of the future

I created several different concepts with these elements in mind:

flower 1 | flower 2 | flower 3 | flower 4

joy 1 | joy 2 | joy 3

dandelion 1 | dandelion 2 | dandelion 3

figures 1 | figures 2

Final pieces:

logo | poster | pin | t-shirt
