    or the 1982 opening of EPCOT, Deborah Lord created "World Bold," a typeface design created originally for EPCOT's signage and brand identity materials.

    This EPCOT font conveys a bold, optimistic future with 1970s-80s styling. Hints of Handel Gothic and NASA's logo are found in the geometric forms and thick curves. Released in 1997, World was updated in May 2008 with an expanded character set.
