A symbol for timeless craftsmanship.

Darren Hippner creates exquisite, hand-crafted guitars which are sought after by musicians. He hired David Occhino Design to create a custom mark that would represent the timeless craftsmanship of a luthier (guitar maker).

By combining Celtic letterforms with a modern calligraphic sensibility, we created a logo that evokes a sense of timeless beauty and expert woodworking. Note the use of the f-hole shape that integrates Darren's initials at the top of the logo.
