- ENCOUNTER is an attractive, space-age font which makes a sleek, futuristic addition to any typeface library. The typeface has a subtle art deco feel to it, and features some unusual letterforms, such as the "E," and "S." This typeface was inspired by a design by Fulton Van Hagen and was digitized with additional characters created by David Occhino.
