- SCHOOL is a D'Nealian font designed specifically for teachers. The letters are carefully designed after the D'Nealian writing program. A set of alternate characters allows for the correct connection of any cursive letter combination.This typeface is based on pre-existing writing materials. Digitization and additional characters by David Occhino. Released in 1997.
Letters:
A-Z and a-z- Numerals: 0-9
- Standard punctuation
- Underscore key creates guide lines

in eight versions:
- Manuscript Plain: with no guidelines
- Manuscript Guides: with guidelines
- Manuscript Arrows: with guidelines and arrows showing stroke direction
- Manuscript Traced: letters done in light dots, allowing the creation of tracing materials
- Cursive Plain: with no guidelines
- Cursive Guides: with guidelines
- Cursive Arrows: with guidelines and arrows showing stroke direction
- Cursive Traced: letters done in light dots, allowing the creation of tracing material
- Cursive
versions have four font styles for typing letters with correct letter
connections:
- regular: default style
- italic: Use after b/o/v/w and before a full-connecting letter
- bold: Use after full-connecting letters and before e/s
- bold Italic : Use after b/o/v/w and before e/s
By using the keyboard commands, you can access these alternate characters quickly and easily. (The "italic," "bold" and "bold italic" styles are not actually italicized or bold: these styles simply provide alternate characters.
